Our 1000th Post on MMI!
Yesterday I posted our 1,000th post on MMI! Wow, a thousand posts.
Alot has happened in a thousand posts. We've talked about just about everything imaginable in ministry; the good, the bad, and the ugly; and yet it seems that there's still so much to talk about. It's been quite a journey; and for the most part, a very enjoyable one.
So, what's in store for the next 1,000 posts? Oh my... quite a lot. Soon, you'll start to see some of the changes that I've been planning for months now. Our new site should go beta to a small group of users in the next couple of weeks. I think you'll really like the new features... things like the ability to email articles and resources to friends, a nice print feature for all posts, a full search capability for every post on MMI, full category pages and more of a portal feel, a full forum on each category so you can start topics that interest you (and not wait for me to publish something that trips your trigger), a full resource store for pastors and church leaders, and more. The design is almost completed; and you'll see the results very soon!
Also new in the next 1,000 posts will be more from you. (Yes you). I'll be depending more heavily on you (yes you) as a faithful reader of MMI. Mostly, for two things: to alert me to articles and resources that you think should be shared here; and to help by contributing some articles and resources yourself! More information on that to come as well!
So, thanks for coming along on this journey. At 1,000 posts, I feel like we've only just begun... and that MMI is probably one of the best kept secrets for pastors and church leaders out there!
Thanks everyone for helping make MMI a valueable resource for all!

How about every reader on this blog sending in a minimum of $5.00 as a high five offering, to send Todd and his family on a Hawaiian holiday. You could send more!! We would need an address. You have worked hard and provided valuable information. How about it friends!!

"and not wait for me to publish something that trips your trigger" - now THAT'S funny!
Seriously... Congrats Todd. While there are several resources I use - none of them have the kind of community base that MMI does. For one who was in the box for so long, I count it all gain to be challenged daily to remain outside. For what lies ahead, I count it a privilege to continue to bathe MMI, her faithful readers and those yet to discover in prayer.
May God bless you indeed...

What I want to know is if the 1000th poster had his/her computer screen light up with fireworks and falling confetti when they hit the post button.
Looking forward to the new and improved MMI (not to imply improvement was needed).
