Rick Warren and Saddleback Go Multi-Site

Rickwarren2What would happen if a community characterized as a quaint village by the sea opened its arms to a church designed to help answer life's most important questions?  If a city that values the simpler lifestyles of the past joined hands with one of the most recognizeable churches in American history?*

Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA has been involved with multi-venue on-campus worship services for a few years now; but on Easter Sunday, Saddleback will open it's first off-site campus.  Saddleback San Clemente will begin on Easter with two morning services.  This is the start of a regional campus expansion expected from Saddleback.  Saddleback San Clemente will meet in the local high school.  You can check out their website here.

I for one am excited about this, to see how God is going to move again. It is exciting to see how God always moves, because He never does it the same way every time.

The other thing is this... In his book "The Purpose Driven Church" they had plans of opening the doors for the first time on Easter and it was a succes.

I applaud Rick Warren and Saddle Back for everything that they do for the Lord. As always I am praying for them, and for Christian's everywhere.

Keep our church in prayer this week, our drama team is doing segments of passion week. Friday night is the death burial and ressurection. This is the Highlight of my life because I portray Jesus.

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE, I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU, AND GOD BLESS. HAVE A HAPPY EASTER AND I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN ON MONDAY.

Easter seems like a great time (perhaps the best) to launch a church. I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing how they do, as I've already learned so much from RW and we just MIGHT be looking into multi-site here, too.

You brought up the "Rick" word again. :)

Praise God for what they are doing.
