Yesterday, we celebrated our 2 year birthday at Revolution Church. We started with around a dozen people and we're now averaging over 300 adults and 100 kids (birth to 6th grade). Great things are happenings, and there is lots of momentum right now. We made 4 big announcements (including the hiring of a Pastor of Belong & Grow), and our congregation is pumped about what's around the corner. Here we go!

That's awesome, David!!
I'm also excited about what God is up to at Northwest. The things I'm experiencing and able to do as a leader are things that have been stirring in my heart for years. As we take more and more steps together, people who have been a part of the church will pull me aside and tell me that what they are experiencing is what they have been stirring on and praying for for years. The signs are pointing toward God's hand moving in and through this faith community. Thanks, Father!

I read your blog about every other day. I enjoy the thought provoking post and the open discussions. Thank You. I find it interesting that everything under the sun can be discussed, argued and debated until everyone is blue in the face. But when it comes to your Monday Morning Praise Reports everyone seems to quiet down. Interesting... Where are those avid posters when it comes to the praise reports?

Interesting, Anonymous, that you don't list your name _or_ a praise report yourself. It's awfully easy to lob potshots at others when you're hiding behind anonymity.
For me, my last Sunday at my previous church was yesterday. It was a bittersweet occasion because I'm excited about our future ministry opportunity, but will miss some of the people with whom I've been able to serve for the past few years.
The week between ministry opportunities has given me a chance to relax, visit extended family, and catch a live college football game at my alma mater this weekend. God is good.
