God is really using my wife and I to minister to other couples and parents now. I love it but am truly saddened how lost people are today in regard to their marrriages. Make not mistake, I am too but I read and spend time with my wife so we will grow together. I guess that's the price of growing up in my generation and family taking a back seat. As a result most of us don't have any good examples of hwo to do married life. I was turned on to you by bobfranquiz.com and read you often and love your thoughts. I also just joined blogland and invite you to visit me at generationpost.com and give me your thoughts on my site.

I've pastored a "mini-church" church for the past 6 monthes and it's doubled in that time. God is up to some great things!

I am beginning involvement with a nursing home ministry called 'Future Care', my current excitement was caused by my last visit to 'Pineview' nursing home wher I was given the opportunity to lead three people to the Lord! A truck driver, a farmer and a lawyer, I am very grateful to God for being able to participate in this ministry.

Cudos to Sarge and Bernard. I can't wait to hear what God is doing with your ministries. I'll be praying for you. Jason so glad to have you with us. I look forward to hearing about your ministry as well. As you probably know by now I'm the long winded philosophical one who really wants sometimes get into conversations over his head. But I love to talk about what God is doing and for me that new positive approach to life is so.....! much easier. Anyway, I will try to keep you guys up to snuff about this new Street Witnessing class I'm in. It has been so incredible helpful during this dark time I've been in. If you remember please pray for our class. We are really believing God for it's success.

I have had the opportunity to visit several different types and styles of churches over the summer while preparing to step into my first pastoral position. It is encouraging to see what God is up to in the church overall. Each visit adds another piece of insight into how the Church can/will minister in this post modern world. It is humbling and exciting to know that I am to be a part of this work.

In our church we have ministry to a nursing facility near us. It is completely lay lead, from beginning to end. No staff person has had a hand in its beginning or development. It has been running faithfully for about 8 years now. They run the morning service for the facility. In the begining they would get maybe a dozen, but over the years it has grown as their credibility has grown. Now they have over 50 people coming, actually they have help the residents come down, which gives them a lot of time to build relationships. Family members and staff also attend. The most exciting thing to happen is that in the last two year 10 of the residents have made a commitment for Christ. They are awesome.

Incarceration led me to God. I ws backed into a corner, could not breathe. Choices had to be made...I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Thank God, I am now home with my 4 children (almost 3 years now). I have a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, an A.A.S in Secretarial Science, and am a licensed Cosmetologist. Please pray for me so I may walk in the purpose God has intended for me. I one day want to be able to take care of my little ones without assistance from the Department of Social Services. I constantly let others know about God's mercy and grace because I know he turned my life around. I just don't have my focus. Please help me with advice.
